PLEASE READ, THIS IS IMPORTANT!

Rumor has it there's a hacker on dA, hacking people and blocking our friends to make them block us! You'll then be banned from dA.

Write the same warning in your journal to protect not only yourself but everyone! Here's another warning: If I'm being a jerk, saying stuff like "Shut up," "Get lost", or "I don't want to see you on my page anymore", that's not really me. That's the hacker.

Things you can to prevent being hacked:
- Be sure to have a strong password! It's more important than you think. Don't use a simple, easy to guess password. Don't use words related to you, like the name of your dog, your own name, the city you live in, or the names of your OTP, etc. Those can be easily guessed by people who know you. Use caps, numbers and symbols and try to avoid obvious combinations like "abc", "asdf" or "123456".

- Change your password once in a while. If you notice a strange activity in your account go and change your password immediatly.

- Don't leave your account logged in in public places, if you go to a public library or cafe be sure to uncheck options like "Remember my password" and the like. Sometimes the browser itself asks you if you want it to remember the password. Say NO. And when you're done, be sure to log out.

- Don't give your password to anyone. I know you might have friends you think you can trust or a boyfriend/girlfriend you really love, but you can never know.

- Remember to beware of phishing scams, I recommend you read this journal: News to know: beware of phishing scams. Aditionally, remember that DA will never ask for your password via email.

- Another excellent tip is to ensure all your security measures are also up to day for the email address you have connected to your account. If your email isn't secure malicious users can gain access and recover your password.


Write all of this down in your journal too!!

The Apocalypse is here…. It's snowing in Canberra.
SNOWING!

I'm giddier than a schoolgirl (…. Oh wait, I am a school girl. Oops.)
It looked like goose feathers were raining from the sky!
Most of you people are out there are probably giving me strange looks, , because I'm about to pass out from happiness (even only from five minutes' worth of snow).

Well, here is the deal: I have lived in Australia my whole life, never ONCE have my family 'gone to the snow', It's been eight years since it has snowed in Canberra, and at that time I was living in South Australia (the driest state, of the driest country in the world…… lol, it did NOT snow there) anyway. So I have never, EVER, seen real snow…. Until today…. And I'm ecstatic!

……….. Okay, I am now officially crazy, if I am fangirling over the weather……..


And to further prove the point that I'm happy/mad, I am writing this in my Media class (which I always focus in, cos' I love this class so much) and I'm NOT working on my class animation project.


Hmmmm….. talking about animation; do you guys think I should try to make a hand-drawn animation? A proper one?

Just a short one to let you guys know that I'm NOT dead…. although I fully expect to keel over from old age any second now.
You see, today is my fifteenth birthday.

Halfway to thirty.  


I rolled over in bed this morning (and right after I realised that: yes I DID have to  get up and yes I am now fifteen), my sleep clogged brain had the outstanding epiphany: "I'm so OLD!"
I'm not kidding. I actually thought that.  


Oh well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
What? Someone had to say it.  


SAFETY TIP: Ignore the random mumblings of a teenage author whose body has decided it wants to stay up at night and only go to sleep during Maths and SOSE.
